Title insurance premium is calculated on the purchase price for a Purchase Transaction or on the Loan Amount for a Refinance Transaction.
The rates for title insurance policies are as follows:
$5.00 per $1,000 for first $50,000
$4.00 per $1,000 for 50,000 to 100,000
$3.00 per $1,000 for over $100,000
Re-issue rates may apply, depending on how recently VCT has previously insured the property in question.
Re-issue rates are as follows:
$3.50 per thousand for first $50,000
$2.50 per thousand over $50,000
Minimum insurance is $100.00
Search fee for buyer is $38.00
Buyers Loan policy for simultaneous issue is $40.00 (Simultaneous issue refers to a situation in which an Owner's Policy and a Loan Policy are purchased in conjunction with one another)

The Base Search fee for seller is $153.00 per tract search and examined. Base search for for the buyer is $38.00.

Recording fees are a flat $60.00, except for Powers of Attorney, which are $50.00.
